For over 50 years A Level has been accepted as proof of academic ability for entry to universities and institutions of higher education. The A Level qualification is also important to employers who frequently require it as a condition of employment. All Junior College students are required to attend Indonesian Language (Bahasa Indonesia / Bahasa Indonesia as a Foreign Language as a subject mandated by the Ministry of Education Indonesia.
English International Language Testing System (IELTS) class is an optional subject for students who are planning to pursue their university studies in English speaking countries as required by universities.
Chinese Language is an optional subject where Junior College students who are planning to pursue their university studies in China or Taiwan are advised to take Chinese Language in preparation for the HSK 4 or HSK 5 examination.
